This little piggie is an apron...

I absolutely laughed out loud when I saw Ellen Page and her onscreen BFF wearing pig aprons in the movie Whip It. They worked in a BBQ joint. Right away I knew that I had to make a rendition. Or two.

So under the Christmas tree this year will be two pig aprons, one for my DD and one for my DSD.

Here's a photo. Go ahead and laugh. I certainly have, each time I look at it.

I drafted the pig face and the apron pattern. All fabrics are cotton from my local quilt shop. The giant rick rack came from www.theribbonjar.com.

Well, if these are just adorable. I didn't see the movie and these are a new idea to me, but oh, how much fun!!! They'll surely be a holiday treat with the "girls."

If there ever is a 'The Cutest Apron Prize', this is one apron that deserves it. Can't help laughing, its just too cute.
