Another question, another answer

Faye asked what a Frankenpattern is, so here's my take on it...

I've heard that term bounced around on sewing sites, and it seemed the perfect description of the pattern that I finally cobbled together for my latest sundress creation (see previous post).

I started with two patterns, took pieces of each, sliced and diced for a few more creative changes, and came out with a monster pattern that actually worked!

Oh, and my apologies to Mary Shelley! :-)

ETA: I'm editing this post because on my computer it doesn't show the complete post. Is anyone else having problems? Of course I guess if you can read this last ETA part, I guess it means you can see the whole post. Blogger seems buggy to me lately. For example, I can't see my Follower's pictures either. That part is blank. I hope it rights itself soon. :-)

Thanks for the definition!

I've always figured it was something Dr. Frankenstein would have made by taking pieces of many patterns cobbled together. My dog Tiny (who died in March) was always called a "Frankendog" for that same reason! K
