Answering a Question, and a Thank You

Gwen asked what my sewing background is.

The answer is simple: I'm completely self-taught. I've been sewing since I first went away to college, desperately in need of a wardrobe, since my high school uniforms were no longer appropriate!

Sewing is my passion. My perfectionist tendencies (a Virgo, dontcha know) result in a fierce attention to detail and fit. While my projects may not always be perfect, they will be as perfect as I can make them. Sewing is an ongoing improvement process for me.

Thank you all for your wonderful compliments on the periwinkle blue knit dress. From some comments, it does not appear periwinkle in color on some monitors, but trust me, that's the color--it has a very slight violet tendency to the blue.
